1.Product’s History a. In the year 2007, on 9th January Steve Jobs, the Pioneer of Apple Inc. introduced iPhone however on 29th June of the same year, the product got released. The company, Apple only designs the product but it is made across different parts of the world ("The Secret History of iPhone", 2019). iPhone was invented by Steve Jobs in the year 2009 ("The Secret History of iPhone", 2019). b. iPhone brought about a revolution in mobile technology because it was the first smartphone with widescreen and touch controls. ("The Secret History of iPhone", 2019). c. At the time when iPhone was introduced, globalization and the role of internet in it was at the peak. However, it we up was not always possible to connect with across globe with big devices such as desktop or laptop. In order to make global communication more feasible, Steve Jobs came up with this next generation technology. In addition to communication, Job’s motive was to introduce such a revolutionary technology, which will make the lives of the consumer convenient. d. iPhone received rave response from the consumers and other competitors in the industry. Since the phone was a revolution in the mobile technology, Americans appreciated this innovation and took interest in using them for which the sales revenue of the product from the initial year was huge. e. iPhone has evolved in all these years and always gets introduced with a different series name. The first phone belongs to the series, which was named as 1st generation phone and now iPhone X is ruling the market. With each release, the design of the phone has evolves because previously the phone had metal body but now it has a glass body with a notch display.
